With their friends and family, Abi & James brought their favorite people together in one of the most epic corners of North WaTheir Story: From Devon to Gondolas to Gwynant

Abi & James have been together nearly nine years, having grown up in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Their journey together has taken them all over, including a backpacking trip through Italy and Greece — which is where James popped the question.

Why Llyn Gwynant?

When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew it had to be in North Wales.

“We absolutely love Wales and the outdoors. We often come camping to North Wales, and go mountain biking in the area. James has stayed at Llyn Gwynant before — right before biking down Snowdon! It’s the most magical area, and we couldn’t imagine anywhere else.”

Honestly? As a North Wales wedding photographer, I couldn’t agree more. This place is beyond epic.

The Wedding Day

Their wedding at Llyn Gwynant Barns was relaxed, emotional, and full of love. After the ceremony, we snuck away for a bit of quiet. Just the two of them, the lake, and the mountains. We wandered around the edge of Llyn Gwynant, before heading higher up for photos with sweeping views across the valley and Moel Hebog.
